Tucker Appreciation Day-December 2, 2003
There was a great turnout for the Annual Tucker Appreciation Day event, held on Main Street in Downtown Tucker. Main Street Tucker was blocked off to allow the crowd to move around safely. (The DeKalb County Police were out in full force to "hold down the wild family crowd"). There was the lighting of the Christmas Tree, a musical presentation by the First Baptist Church of Tucker Group, lots of fun for the kids and grownups too, a bonfire for the children, crafts events, etc. Even the "pets" had a good time walking down the center of Main Street, with no traffic to bother them! Lots of good family fun and community unity.
