Railroad Spikes |

 We have a large inventory of very old original railroad spikes that were retrieved from the renovation of the CSX railroad tracks over the years in Georgia. Each spike has its own unique quality & features. Some are bent upon their removal from the tracks after over a half a century or more of service. |
Most spikes are in original condition, so they will be rusty, and some have been carefully hand cleaned. They are in very good condition, and some have been painted to protect their finish, so chances are that no two spikes will be exactly alike. Most railroad spikes are 6-5/8" in length, with 5/8" square shanks. Net weight: Approximately 12 ounces. We also have a few of the "screw" type spikes. These are very unique and very rare, so the value of these will increase over the years. |
These spikes will make a perfect gift for the office to use as a paperweight. You can also use them as a unique decorative piece in a shadowbox, or as a "railroad enthusiast" collectible that will certainly increase in value over the years because of the unique quality and the history of each spike. |
